Youth Youth is a poet who is discouraged because he is disappointed in love. He has decided life is no longer desirable because his sweetheart left him and that the person to whom he wrote songs for does not understand the meaning of his songs. We could also say that he is the epitome of a hopeless romantic, youth no longer finds solace in the warmth of life for he seems helpless in the face of love. Until she met The Girl; the one who understands and kissed every line of his songs and dances them will all her heart. He could also be described as someone who is desperate to be loved and desperate to offer his love for someone.

  In our one act play Youth is played by Mr. Maximus Lumberio
