   Death is pictured as the polar opposite of her sister Life. He is dark, gloomy and playful most of the time. According to the story, the game is always in his favour. He is also the one wanted by Youth and The Girl. According to Youth he has been seeking him (death) for weeks but failed to see him. He is tricky ,and he tricked Life by playing for time while waiting for Youth to leap into the sea. He somehow discriminate Life by  telling her that the universe would be in a wild state of disorder if she had any say. Death also dislike Kings and other monarchs and he does not like playing for them. Though tricky and playful Death is still described as a "sport" and a "gentleman" who is truthful like his sister. Death may be playful but he knows the law and he never play against it. He often remind his sister about playing by the laws. And for him suicides will always be fooled by Life's shallowest little deceits. He also believed that one day The Girl, Youth, and everyone else will be forgotten.
